Craft & Cover

Craft you can sit under.

Stretch tents, tipis and custom outdoor structures for pubs, breweries, hotels and venues. Over 20 years of experience, made in Europe and usually fitted in a day.

What we put up

Three kinds of cover, each one sized and pitched for the space you have.

Stretch tents

34 m² to over 300 m²

Standard sizes for pub gardens, terraces and outdoor dining. One sheet of fabric pulled tight over poles, shaped to your space.

Tipis

From Little Hats to Giant Tipis

Tall, round and easy to spot from the road. Ideal for weddings, a garden centrepiece and events.

Custom structures

Made to measure

For terraces, roof spaces and awkward corners. Tell us the space and we’ll design to fit.

How it works

From the first call to the first full weekend under it, the same team looks after you.

  1. Free site survey

A member of the team comes to measure the space, check the ground and the fixing points, and talk through your options and what fits best.

  2. Design and quote

A drawing of the tent on your space and a written price.

  3. Install

Clear updates from sign-off through to delivery. Fitting usually takes no more than a day, depending on size.

  4. Looked after

Maintenance, cleaning, repairs and replacement canvas are a phone call away. Aftercare is charged separately.

Why Craft & Cover

A cover over your beer garden has to earn its keep every weekend, in the weather you actually get. That takes experience, not just a tent.

Questions venues ask

If yours isn't here, ask us on the site visit.

Do we need planning permission?

It depends on the size of the structure, how long it stays up and where you are. We go through it with you on the site visit and tell you what to check with your local council. If your venue has a premises licence, the covered area may also need to be on the licensed plan.

How does it cope with wind and rain?

The fabric is tensioned over poles, so water runs off and the shape holds. Like any tent it has wind limits: it should come down at wind speeds above [to confirm]. Drop-down clear walling adds shelter and keeps the view.

What ground can it go on, and how is it fixed?

Grass, paving, decking and gravel [to confirm each]. Poles are fixed with anchors, base plates or weights [to confirm]. Where there’s a building, the edge can be fixed to the wall, with a gutter to take the water away.

How long from order to install?

Depending on size, your new structure can be installed in as little as 2 to 4 weeks.

What happens after it’s up?

If you have any questions, a member of the team is always at the end of the phone. If you need something more hands-on, we have a range of aftercare options, charged separately.
